CSAS JSHS Students Explore Drone Soccer at SUNY Poly

Friday, September 26th, 2025: Citizenship & Science Academy of Syracuse Junior-Senior High School students recently had the exciting opportunity to visit SUNY Polytechnic Institute for a hands-on drone soccer demonstration. This emerging sport combines the thrill of competition with the science and technology of drones, giving students a unique look at how STEM concepts come to life in innovative ways.

During the visit, students learned how drones are engineered, programmed, and piloted, while also seeing the teamwork and problem-solving skills that make drone soccer possible. Experiences like this spark curiosity and highlight the endless possibilities of STEM education—from aviation and robotics to coding and engineering.
